IRFT, Mumbai based non for profit organisation, is dedicated to empowering farmers, artisans, companies and NGOs to develop business capacity and promote sustainable livelihoods for all those involved in producing the things we consume everyday. The Community Business Support Programme of IRFT aims at supporting the development of Community Based Enterprises as sustainable businesses. We are now looking for the competent professionals to join our young team in Mumbai as Business Counselors.

Position : Business Counselor

Qualification : Ideal candidate would have suitable qualification such as Post Graduates in Agriculture/HR/PM/Marketing Management/Entrepreneurship Development.

Experience : At least 2 years of experience in any of the following fields consulting, monitoring and evaluating projects, Marketing and Enterprise Development is desirable. A long term commitment, good communication/presentation skills, ability to interface with other stakeholders and openness to travel to rural and semi urban areas are essential. Should be an excellent Team Player.

Essential Language Skills : English , Hindi and any one of Marathi/Tamil/Kannada/Gujarati.

Responsibilities : The responsibilities would include undertaking a range of activities including business assessment and consultancy, client management, enterprise development, training, advocacy, promotion and events management. We would encourage candidates from Mumbai or those who have base in Mumbai to get in touch with us.
